TaraTape develops, manufactures and sells pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) tapes primarily used for industrial packaging under the brand name TaraTape. The company markets its products commercially through a national network of industrial distributors and directly to manufacturers as well as to the U.S. Government. TaraTape has a strong, established reputation as a high quality producer, able to custom design products for specific applications.
The TaraTape product line consists of five primary categories of PSA Tape: Filament Tapes, Carton Sealing Tapes, Mono Oriented, High Strength Poly Strapping Tapes, Spoolwound Tear Strip Tapes and Overlaminate Films. With a wide variety of constructions, these PSA Tapes are slit to various roll sizes and packaged to customer specifications. The company also manufactures a variety of other specialty tapes in over 500 products.
The company is located in a large, efficient facility about 20 miles north of Philadelphia, in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. The plant has a total of 64,000 square feet, with rail siding and resin storage silos. Manufacturing operations and warehousing, as well as administrative offices are located at the plant. Sales offices are in a nearby office building.
